Available in dimension series 70 and 719 with shaft diameters from 10 to 50 millimeters, the new PTB (Precision Tool Bearings) series of precision angular contact ball bearings is suitable both for the bearing supports of driven tool spindles and for bevel gear supports in driven tools. Technically and economically optimized solution The robust internal construction enables the bearings to withstand high axial and radial machining forces. High running accuracy (P4 class) and rigidity ensure stable machining processes and high productivity. The new PTB bearings are optionally available with seals and supplied pregreased with Schaeffler’s premium Arcanol “Speed 2.6” spindle bearing grease. As universal bearings, they can be paired in any arrangement. All manufacturing processes for the PTB precision angular contact ball bearing series have been adapted to deliver a technically and economically optimized solution for driven tools, making them suitable for both original equipment and reconditioning.
