References listed together are not automatically interchangeable. If your bearing is not shown, send the full marking or a clear photograph for identification and availability review.
Spherical roller bearings support radial loads and axial loads in both directions. Their self-aligning geometry accommodates angular misalignment associated with shaft deflection or alignment differences between the shaft and housing.
Permissible misalignment remains subject to the specific bearing and installation. Self-alignment does not remove the need to check shaft alignment, housing condition, lubrication and sealing.
Typical application areas include conveyors, industrial gearboxes, mining equipment and paper machinery. These are starting points for selection, not confirmation that every catalogue bearing suits every machine. Provide the equipment position and operating conditions so the required configuration can be reviewed.
For vibrating screens or other strongly vibrating equipment, identify the application explicitly. Include the original bearing specification and available operating data before approving a replacement.
Cylindrical-bore and tapered-bore versions require different mounting arrangements. Check the exact version against the shaft and assembly drawing, even when the main catalogue dimensions appear similar.
K and K30 are commonly used to identify tapered bores in spherical roller bearing catalogues. Confirm the taper and complete designation using the applicable manufacturer's documentation. Do not omit a bore suffix when requesting a replacement.
A tapered-bore bearing may be mounted on a suitable tapered shaft or with an appropriate adapter or withdrawal sleeve. If a sleeve is involved, provide its reference and the shaft diameter. Ask for confirmation of compatibility and whether the sleeve, nut and locking components are included in the quotation.
The complete designation can identify several independent features. A bore suffix, clearance code and lubrication feature do not describe the same property.
C3 denotes an internal clearance greater than Normal; it is not a higher quality or precision grade. Specify the clearance required by the equipment design. Check the mounting and operating requirements before substituting a different clearance class.
Catalogue references may also use CA, CC, MB or other design codes. Their interpretation depends on the manufacturer's designation system. Request confirmation of the internal design and cage material instead of assuming that similarly named variants have identical performance.
For lubrication features such as W33, verify the outer-ring groove and hole arrangement against the product drawing. Also confirm whether the bearing is open or sealed, how lubrication reaches the bearing and what protection the surrounding assembly provides. A lubrication groove does not establish that the bearing is sealed or pre-greased.
Send one line per required configuration. If two items share a basic number but have different suffixes, list them separately with their own quantities.

Quantity, destination, requested delivery date, packaging and marking requirements |
For OEM approval or planned maintenance orders, identify the drawing revision and any documents required before shipment. Ask for the available scope of dimensional inspection, material documentation and batch identification at the quotation stage.
Minimum order quantity, availability and delivery timing should be confirmed for the exact configuration. For private-label enquiries, include the intended marking, packaging requirements and order quantity for review.
Include all suffixes whenever possible. The basic number alone may not identify the bore type, clearance or internal design needed for your equipment.
Do not approve a substitution from the basic dimensions alone. Review the shaft, sleeve and complete mounting arrangement, then confirm the required bearing version.
No. Select clearance according to the equipment specification and mounting conditions. A larger clearance is not a universal performance upgrade.
No. The bearing designation does not establish the contents of the quotation. Specify the sleeve and other mounting components separately and confirm the supplied items.
Suitability requires application review. Provide the original bearing designation and operating conditions so the cage, clearance and other relevant requirements can be checked.
Send the full marking, equipment model, installation position, quantity and available drawing. Photographs can help identify the part, but technical compatibility should be checked before accepting a substitute.
